New Agriculturist welcomes opinions and contributions from readers. Please email us with your comments on New Agriculturist and the subject matter featured. The Editor reserves the right to select communications for our e-mail @ page and to abbreviate communications for publication.

We hope that communications will stimulate debate on agriculture and rural development, and suggest topics for future coverage.

Once again I congratulate you and the group for putting out the third issue of New Agriculturist. I can see some positive changes which improve the purpose of our journal. The column 'Debate' will surely attract more comments (and I shall have mine submitted in due time) from readers at large. The announcement of topic to discuss in the next issue(s) is very useful for someone whose speciality/expertise is willing to participate. We shall try our best to contribute to New Agriculturist in due time.
We plan to translate relevant materials from NA to publish in the Vietnamese magazine "Agriculture and Rural Development". I am negotiating with the editor, and will report back to you the progress.
Thank you again for keeping us well in formed agriculturally.
Dr. Vo-Tong Xuan, Prof. Agronomy, Director, Mekong Delta Farming Systems R&D Institute, University of Cantho, Cantho, Vietnam

Thank you for your email pointing to the New Agriculturist. I always find something new and informative in it.
Howard Elliott, Deputy Director General, ISNAR

Thank you. I love receiving updates of New Agriculturist. Please continue sending me the latest.

Am I allowed to make a suggestion? I think it might be of interest to readers if the reference of the original article were given. For example, the biodiversity feature could give the book chapter reference. It would allow people to follow up items of interest to them.
Roger Leakey, Institute of Terrestrial Ecology, Scotland, UK

Ed: A good idea. We'll work on it.

I find New Agriculturist on-line very informative and interesting - thanks.
Elisabeth Krippl, Public Information Consultant, IAEA-TC, Vienna, Austria

I have just had a look at New Agriculturist. It really is excellent. Not just in style and presentation, but in the range of content it presents.......useful up-to-date info for everyone! Even a note about the joint course on Agroforestry that I am running this summer. If you can keep the quality of the contributions up it should become very well known indeed.
Peter Huxley, Tropical Forestry Research Group, Oxford, UK

I am ashamed to admit that today is the first opportunity that I have had to look at New Agriculturist. I am most impressed and look forward to seeing June's edition. I would like to compliment all who have been involved in this development which is well up to your usual high standard.
Peter Roeder, Animal Health Service (AGAH), FAO, Rome, Italy

I have scrolled your site and I have marked it as one of my favourites. It is very professionally done and well presented. But nothing on Livestock!!!
Mark Rweyemamu, EMPRES, Animal Health Service (AGAH), FAO, Rome, Italy

Thank you for putting my letter on your e-mail page. A reader in Canada contacted us on a very important potato development. Waiting for the 4'th issue!
