IPC Livestock Barneveld College is a centre for training in animal husbandry, in animal care and in feed milling technology. The College offers mid-career Diploma courses and a training programme for: extension officers, agriculture teachers and instructors and managers in the husbandry of small species of farm animals, and in animal feed and its manufacture and the production of compound feeds. Barneveld College offers a highly differentiated programme of practice oriented courses at all levels. Adequate information on most recent developments in animal husbandry and feed manufacturing is taught to participants of its courses; latest technologies and facilities appropriate to the participants' working conditions and requirements are used. Barneveld College is one of three campuses forming The Innovation and Practical Training Centre Livestock (IPC Livestock) which covers the entire livestock sector (ruminants, pet animals, etc.) and a considerable part of the livestock production column (from animal feed manufacturing technology through slaughtering, meat inspection and processing and dairy technology).
