The largest delta in the world, with little land more than 12 metres above sea level, Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated countries. Since 1980 there has been a substantial increase in agricultural production. But overpopulation, widespread poverty and vulnerability to the impacts of climate change are serious challenges.

An Bangladesh article discussing germplasm importance and showing water buffalo plowing can't be more misleading. Yes seed is important, but it was ag mech with a million STW and 400,000 small tractors that Bang went from basket case to net exporter
