Climate change - for the better?

In Himachal Pradesh, northern India, rising temperatures have proved a blessing for farmers who are willing and able to change their production systems and take risks with new crops. Lower altitudes are now suitable for high value vegetables and farmers in higher villages are growing apples.

Well with predicted increase in temperature, the zones for cropping is expected to shift but then what if the rise in temperature continues?

I do not think so.The change should be viewed within the ambit of all the attributes of the eco-system.Plus apple has more value added products. Ravi
