With a special emphasis on women, IFAD's Root and Tuber Improvement and Marketing Programme is working to improve the food security and incomes of poor rural households in Ghana by enhancing production of roots and tubers through improved technologies and by developing skills in processing and marketing.

Very interesting and inspiring news. The article gave me ideas how we can engage more women to be economically active and become integrated into the market. There is also something that we can develop new products from our daily foodstuff for market.. I am looking forward to hear more about women
