Wetlands: towards a sustainable future

To support wetland communities in optimising both the protection and productivity of their environment, the CGIAR has launched the Aquatic Agricultural Systems research programme. At the first workshop in Mongu, western Zambia, participants shared their ideas on the challenges facing wetland livelihoods, and ways towards a productive and sustainable future.

In some parts people resort to unfair practice in catching fish. Which is the best way-- to educate consumers or regulate the fishing activity. In India, as a teacher, I've been training the consumers inform the sellers to resist the practice.
