Seeding the idea

Farmers leave some shrubs uncut to flower. The mature pods are gathered, dried, shelled and the seed is then packed for sale. Farmers have set up their own seed dealers association which, having met the necessary standards, is licensed to market the seeds of nine fodder varieties throughout East Africa.
