Absorbing study

A scientist at CIAT's Nutrition Quality Laboratory carries out 'bioavailability' tests on improved sweet potato, developed by the International Potato Center (CIP). These tests, central to effective nutritional improvement in crops, determine how much of the additional nutrients can be absorbed by the human body.
