Sammy sells his amaranth grain to the Incas International company in Nairobi. He also has a small 'posho' mill, which he uses to produce flour. He sells this to his neighbours in 1kg and 500g bags, earning over US$0.50 per kg. This makes grain amaranth his most profitable crop.
