A livestock keeper takes his herd of cattle to market in the town of Pouytenga, Burkina Faso, one of the largest livestock markets in West Africa. Meat is currently in high demand in the urban centres of the region. However trade has been hindered between neighbouring countries due to differing zoosanitary regulations.
