The start of a new life

Despite the fears that peace may not be long-lasting, most families are cautiously returning to start a new life away from the IDP camps. At first, men start by clearing the land and cultivating their fields during the day whilst remaining with their families in the camps at night. Gradually village houses are built or repaired and the families return.
