Breeding better bush beans

An agronomist checks bush beans growing at an experimental site near the Andean town of Darién, in southwest Colombia. The International Centre for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) is developing improved bean varieties with drought tolerance, pest resistance and increased iron and zinc content.
