Civil war in northern Uganda
Amuru camp in northern Uganda, one of the largest camps for internally-displaced people (IDP) in the country. Over 37,000 people live at the camp after abandoning their homes as a result of the long-running civil war between the government Ugandan People's Defence Forces (UPDF) and the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) guerrilla group.
